My brain is tired...

First I'd like to share a layout I did at the UKS cybercrop at the weekend. This was a class by Shimelle. When I first saw the supply list about two weeks ago I really didn't think I'd be doing the class. You needed a photo almost the size of your layout and I didn't have one. Little did I know I was going to find a cardboard envelope with about 15 LARGE photos inbetween my magazines when I sorted them the other week! So problem solved and I was ready for the class!

...and I really, really enjoyed it! I'm not sure I would ever have thought about scrapping such a large photo on this size page...but it really worked and I enjoyed it a lot. It's definitely something I will do again!! The photo is of "Ale Stenar" (similar old stone formation to Stone Henge) in the very south of Sweden.

I feel soooo worn out when I'm typing this. As I said yesterday, everything seem to have happened at once for me. I did 5 projects yesterday. I have just finished my 5th projects for today. My brain and body feel like they don't work anymore. And I'd like another two projects done in less than 1 1/2 hours...or that was my plan! Heeeelp!! LOL! I'm having fun...I just wish I knew what to do when your brain feels like mush and you feel like you can't possibly create another thing right now...yet you need to keep going and keep going. What do you do when you feel like that, to get that extra spark of energy to make you go another hour? Please share with me in the comments section - I'd be very grateful - thanks!! :)

My thoughts... You have to heed the signs when your brain is mush and your body is tired. Take a break, take a nap, go for a walk, do something totally different from what you need to focus on. Sounds counter-productive, but really it will help you be more focused in the following 30 minutes or hour...

And if you have a revelation or a break-through during your break... the creative time will go that much better!

I did this class too and I love BIG picture layouts, yours is just fab too. As for brain drain, I walk away, do something else for a bit and before I know it I am back in the craft room lol!
