Went to Hobbycraft this morning. I don't know what it is with me and real-life craft shops but I get so overwhelmed by the stuff for sale that I usually come out without having bought a single thing! Amazing, eh? But true!! I'm not joking!! It's soooo much easier to buy scrapping stuff on-line.
So this time I went armed with a shopping list for the few things that I needed. Figured I MUST be able to get what I need then. And I'm pleased to report that it worked. Yay!! Got some stuffing for my heart (see post below), some cheap brushes (on purpose. I have good ones, I just wanted a pack of cheap ones for glue/varnish etc), some ribbon, felt, embroidery thread and needles. So I'm a happy girl. Got exactly what I needed...and even some yummy buttons from John Lewis afterwards.
Now off to finish off my little heart...

Just had to comment...cos I am LOL! That is SO TRUE. I always go to craft stores and leave with 2 sheets of paper after being in there for hours (no joke). I get all overwhelmed as well!
I seem to be the opposite. I go in big craft places and come out with tons of stuff, half of which I never use. I wish I could be as disciplined as you, my bank balance would be a lot healthier!
