So I have got it. THE book! The book we all have been waiting for for years - it's mine!! We hadn't pre-ordered so I was a little concerned whether the shop would have sold out but it was fine. And I now have my very own copy in my hand.I kept looking at the cover this morning when I was going to start reading it. Part of me didn't want to open it because I knew it was the end. Once I have read it, that's it - no more Harry Potter books! Aaaaah!! It was like ---> nooo I don't want it to be the end, I want more books. But it IS the end. And I opened the cover and started reading...
...which I will continue doing now...

Your's looks different than mine. The US cover is a lovely orange-yellow that I can't stop looking at.
I also have terribly mixed feelings about this. Usually I rip through the book. This time, I've decided to read a chapter a night. I'll see how long that goes for!

I will take this one slow. I got the collectors edition. Has drawings in the back.
I like that cover, the US is different. I pre-ordered mine & it came on the 21st. I didn't start reading it till the other day though, same reasons that you mentioned. I just finished it last night & it is SO good. Enjoy!!! JK is giving some great interviews now with even more info that isn't in the book. I enjoyed it because it didn't feel like it was over. Such a great series!
