What a special day...

This is my page for the 26th of Dec (Christmas Journal). A quite simple one this time. I decided to actually use something that was connected to this Christmas, so I took the very Christmassy box I got given a CD in, cut it up and used one side (decorated with Stickles glitter glue) as the main photo of my page.

The journaling is all about the tradition we have for Boxing day. Since many years back, mum's sister and her family have invited us over for food in the afternoon. We all try and make it on the day as it's really the only time of year that the whole family (on mum's side) gets the chance to get together. So that is always very nice.

I used lots of Stickles glitter glue to make the picture come alive in the page and make it a bit more 3D. I tried to take a close-up photo of it, but I'm not sure how much will show up properly.

Went shopping this morning and made some bargains. Also got myself a self-healing cutting mat as the one I already have is pretty useless. I was intending to get an A4 sized one. Possibly look at an A3...but really go for an A4. After lots of visits to several shops, I didn't find a single cutting mat. Then finally I found some in The Works. But they only had A2 (!!) sized ones. So A2 it had to be.

Apart from that, I've had a really nice day today. Sending lots of hugs to someone very special - you know who you are...
