First of all I want to thank everyone of you who left me comments regarding the Cuttlebug yesterday. I really appreciate it!! :) Loved reading what you all wrote. In fact I love comments in general and always read ALL of them :) A special thanks to grungedandy for taking the time to tell me all about the plates etc and also to Jane in Canada for telling me about which dies it will and won't take and for posting a cool link to some great little videos. Thank you everyone :)
Abi, you asked where I ordered mine from. I got it from craftsulove. Unfortunately I had an e-mail from them yesterday saying that they had sold out of something in my order (not telling me what), that they hopefully should have it in stock on Thursday and that it (the sold out item? Or my whole order? I don't know!) would be sent asap. I've been so excited about this since I placed the order that I couldn't help feeling rather disappointed when I got the mail late yesterday afternoon. Especially since I'm not 100% sure what it means in regards to when my Cuttlebug will turn up. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that it's an embossing folder that's out of stock, that the rest of my order might be shipped later today and the folder sent afterwards. But I have a bad feeling it's the machine itself, or that they are holding the complete order no matter what. *sigh* Be patient, be patient LOL!
I'll leave you with a double 12x12 layout (wow that is big!! I don't think I have scrapped a double 12x12 since...2 or 3 years ago) which I did for the Cathy Zielske BPS class last week.
I really love that double layout, am just trying to find the right photos to do mine!
ReplyDeleteGreat double page..I never can do a double page for some reason.
ReplyDeleteWhen I got the same email from you when I ordered the cuttlebug and a bunch of the folders back in September, I emailed and asked what was out of stock. A few folders and the tool itself they said. Then when it was meant to ship I got another email saying their supplier had let them down and they couldn't send my order as the machine was still out of stock. All in all it took 2 weeks+ to get my order so I doubt they will part ship. They seem to sell the machine even if out of stock with the anticipation that their supplier is going to deliver within a few days. At least that is what they told me. I wasn't totally thrilled as other shops carry it for less than they do but I only went with them as I had bought from them before and they were reliable.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, hope yours arrives sooner than later!
I meant to say when I got the same email AS you. Ooops!
ReplyDeleteYour double LO looks great! I have a hard time with two-pagers for some reason! Looks like several of us do :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, boo on your order not being in stock! That's the worst! I love the 2 pager!
ReplyDeleteLove your layout! I used to do all 2 page layouts when I was a paper scrapper and can't believe that I do mostly one page now!
ReplyDeleteGreat LO! I hope you get your order soon. I know how aggravating that can be when something is backordered.
ReplyDeleteYour welcome, I’m also doing the class but my colour printer has gone to the place where the ink never runs out in the sky! & my photo printer has run out of ink! So I’ve got to buy a new printer & I’m awaiting more ink! So I’ve got my pages half planed but not done & I’m falling behind but she said not to panic about stuff so I’m not! LoL love the layout
ReplyDeleteSeeya hugya *G
I really wanted to do Cathy's class, but I couldn't afford it at the moment. SO COOL to see what you're doing though :)
ReplyDeleteGreat 2-pager. I'm not sure I've ever done one!
ReplyDeleteI love how you used the Sonoma range for this double layout...awesome.
ReplyDeleteWell, I was also interested in buying the cuttle bug, but after have seen the slice from making memories I think that I am going to ask this one to santa claus ! lol
ReplyDeleteHoping that you will receive your order soon... have a nice day
