No sign of my owl stamp (plus a few others - to keep him company on the way you understand) yet...
I've been doing lots of doodling in my practice book this week. Love it!! First we were doing swirls. Now I think I have said this before, but...I'm rather impatient...so I really can't cope with doing all doodling using a pencil first and then a black pen later. It just doesn't work for me and takes faaaar too long time! LOL! The only exception I would make is if we're talking about big letters, for a title, then I really need some faint pencil lines to keep the letters at least reasonably even. :)
Anyway, we got off topic a bit. I'm not doodling letters (yet!) LOL! We were doing swirls and I just go straight in there with my black pen in my book. This means that some things go wrong, some swirls don't turn out as good as you wished etc and you just have to cope with that. But it's hard. I guess I'm a bit of a perfectionist and expect myself to be an expert at everything even if I am a beginner.
Another assignment was to look at some doodled stamps and try to copy them freehand. This was lots of fun. Found some pics of Inque Boutique stamps on the internet which I used.
...and here they are with a little colour added.
Wishing you all a great weekend!! :)
Oh, I have been watching your blog for some time now, I put it on my google reader, and I really enjoy what you are doing here.
ReplyDeleteI love it that you are sharing your doodling class with us all. Thank you!
My favorite part from today definitely has to be the little "doodle bug" at the bottom! ;)
Have a great day!
OMG how good are they Anso. Amazing job . . . . . . .
ReplyDeleteLovely doodles Anso. Been trying to get hold of that book since before it was published with no luck so far!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I'm a pain in the bum and have tagged you, the details are on my blog xx
Just love these doodles, Anso - have been looking out for your work on the Big Picture gallery. Just love your page with the arrows and little bug shape - gorgeous! If I could do work like this, it would makes me think I'd never need to buy another stamp again - I'd just doodle! Best wishes, Alexa
ReplyDeleteLoving your doodles Anso - thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI too would love to get hold of the book, can you only get it with the class or can we purchase it from somewhere?
